[ opening mingle ]
[ A seemingly normal day in the city-state of Seihkir - another sunny day in this paradise of monsters.
That is, except for some near the Lake of Life - some who look out of place. Humanoid, even. For people have begun to arrive. Are they confused? Lost? Alas, there's no people here to guide them - human or monster each. By the edge of the lake are a few bags - filled with food and cell phones, alongside small potion bottles and a few ruined scraps of paper. Other then that, the area is a calm split in the forest - a path to the city clear from a long dirt path.
Welcome to Seihkir. Feel free to make your own posts after this, but use this as a mingle. ]

But he will be approaching people, giving them a glare under his helmet. ] You. No answers?

She doesn't even bother to lift her head. Sitting with one knee pulled up towards her chest to support her head, she watches the others waking up around them. There are bags nearby with necessary items, though she has no drive to make a move towards them. Let the others fight over material objects that won't matter in a lifetime. )
From the phones? I'm no receptionist. ( She's also a smart ass, at times. )
no subject
I ask not of devices, [ which he assumes phones are - ah, to be from a realm of different technology ] but wherence we've fallen.
no subject
To be lost is a pitiful state of being... ( She comments idly at that. )
no subject
But is it your state?
no subject
Save for a certain stalker that's recently been disposed of. Details... )
Are you distressed?
( A question for a question answered seems fair. )
no subject
[ The only worry he holds is for if he is to linger for too long. There are some he must return to - those who cannot live eternal. He gives a little bit of a nod to her, though. ]
no subject
You seem experienced. ( In what she doesn't specify. Best to leave that for his own lips to spill. )
no subject
(The air is Mistless, something he's not comfortable with.) But he doesn't elaborate on his own feelings, no. Instead, he gives a simple question: ] Have you no concern?
no subject
It's a little tiresome, but not by much. ) I'm hale and whole. What more is there to want from this ordeal? Answers?
( She'd have to have questions to ask first. )
no subject
Not only because it'd help keep her awake, but because she felt an odd sensation in her body, one she could barely explain in words. ]
no subject
For a moment, it appears as though she wants to say something, but she doesn't speak. Not the talkative type, it appears. )
no subject
And somebody who seems to hoard food like that-- oh dear. She shakes her head. ]
...Are you well?
no subject
Realizing that she's being rude, she'll offer her some food from one of the packs nearby. She... might have eaten from a couple already, oops. Food that's left around like that will spoil, so it's best to eat it quickly in her mind. )
no subject
She'll eat alongside her, though, waiting for this red-haired lady to have an empty mouth.
But yet, she cannot help but muse out loud. ] I hope whoever left these around are safe.
[ because why is there so many packs just abandoned here ]
no subject
They were left behind intentionally. ( Weren't they? She glances around, as if trying to find some other sign to indicate they weren't. A struggle, a trail of heavy footsteps leaving in fear. Anything. )
no subject
Are you alright? [He asks with an edge of concern. It might be none of his business, but he can't help but think they might be in the same situation.]
no subject
[ a beat ]
...Are you lost as well?
no subject
[He's not sure that's the whole truth, but he's also not about to pry. Everyone has burdens they'd rather not share.]
Seems like it. [He sighs and flops down nearby.] I'm not sure where here even is, much less how to get back to my crew.
no subject
Nor am I - my linkpearl has grown silent, and I cannot seem to return to an Aetheryte. But it does not seem... dangerous.
no subject
No, this wasn't any place he'd been before.
The blonde ends up making his way over to the bags he'd spotted in his initial survey of the area, kneeling down to poke through them and see if there was anything that may help him figure out where he was. The instant he spotted the cellphones he snatched one up and dialed a number he had memorized by this point--Tifa's--putting it to his ear and waiting--]
The number you are trying to reach has been disconnected.
[Cloud pulls the phone away from his ear with a sharp frown, slowly ending the call.
Disconnected?]
no subject
As he uses the phone, however, she feels her own fingers going to her Linkpearl - it wasn't picking up any chatter. A frown crossed her lips, and she approached the man. (Clothes he wore reminded her of some people outside Mor Dhona. Trustworthy ones.) ]
...Are they broken?
no subject
No. What was done was done. Stop reliving it.]
G-Gladio! Noct? Prompto?
[The names are called out with the faintest hint of desperation, Ignis managing to get upright but reaching out in an attempt to find something he can use to steady himself. Something he can use to guide himself along wherever he is.]
no subject
...
[ But he was loathe to talk - he knew not who this man seeked, or if those were names. But it would be better - so that he was not mistaken for a mimic or statue. ]
You are no native.
[ smooth, basch ]

She grabs at her necklace to activate her super speed and attempts to take off at top speed. ]
Huh?
[ She tries to activate it again, but it doesn't glow indicating that it's active. It seems to be dead. ]
Oh come on! [ With an annoyed sigh, she scans the area. Once the cell phones have been spotted, she snatches one up and dials up Applejack first. The phone doesn't even ring, but says it's disconnected. Dash's look is one of confusion and she quickly dials up the rest of her friends, getting the same answer.
Phone in hand, she'll be walking around and looking around the area. ]
Anybody know where we are?
no subject
Your guess is as good as mine. [At least it seems like a habitable place, and there isn't any hostile wildlife nearby. There were worse worlds to be stuck on.] Where were you before this?
no subject
Damn. [Manabu mutters under his breath, still rummaging through the bag.] I gotta find a way to let them know where I am...
[Which is easier said than done. The place is abandoned, or at least he's far enough from civilization to make it seem that way.]
no subject
Anything of use? [He moves close enough to pretend to eye the bag's contents, but he's more intrigued by the boy's appearance. It's been a while, but surely...] I found nothing. The bottles didn't even have wine in them.
[He was terribly sober to deal with a family reunion.]
no subject
He's going to have a look through them, or wander down to take a look down the path.]
… I wonder who's down there. [and- he'll turn, to whoever's near.] I don't suppose you've seen anyone?
no subject
Thancred--!
[ He's here, she's not alone. But there's others... and her Linkpearl cannot pick up anybody else. ]
no subject
Wherever here was.
In an attempt to seem more natural, she stands near the bags and looks through one, wondering who they must belong to. The items weren't her's to keep, she suspects, even if each bag looks identical in contents. They must belong to a group of travelers, but where were they?
With more questions than answers, she busies herself with one of the phones. It's unlike anything she's ever seen, so it has captured her interest for the time being.
Her face lights up in surprise anytime she pushes a button that causes the screen to do the same. How neat. )

First and foremost, his objective is to assess the situation, and see if he can find anyone who might have been carried along to this place as well.
It isn't long before he sees the familiar hair of his Princess, and his objective changes to 'protect his liege', as it always is. He approaches. ]
Your majesty!
no subject
He only referred to her as that because they're out in public, right? It's only been a few weeks, but she thought he would treat her more as a wife than a princess sooner than later. )
You're here as well.
no subject
[ Honestly, her being here meant she is in danger, but at the very least, he is here to protect her. Although, there is something confusing. Had she had that ring last time he'd seen her? Probably not, but it looks like a wedding ring. Oh. His princess is married. Well then. ]
I have yet to ascertain where we have ended up. How fare you?
no subject
Well, though we are of the same mind when it comes to our circumstances. ( Meaning she has yet to recognize the lay of the land herself. ) I cannot recall how I came to such a place either.
